Due to the high level of confidentiality and personal nature of my consultations, I do not ask for recommendations or testimonials. However here are some which were volunteered.

I was referred to Jane Freeman by my gastro-enterologist after an emergency colostomy operation which resulted in three week hospital stay. The initial brief was to increase my fibre intake gradually and subsequently to recommend appropriate supplements when the medication I was taking reduced my potassium and Vitamin D levels. I have found her to be incredibly thorough and knowledgable about all aspects of my colon problems. Importantly she has been, and still is, very supportive during what has been an extremely difficult time. I have since recommended Jane to others and have no hesitation in doing so here.

Best wishes,
Mrs B

I think you are still in London and thought I would drop you a line to let you know that the healthy eating habits you helped me establish are still firmly fixed in my routine. I have also moved the exercise up a gear, continuing to see a trainer twice a week in the gym, but also training for a half marathon over the last few months. This took place last Sunday in and around Hyde Park. I found it fairly tough but achieved my goal which was just under 2 hours. Apart from the exhaustion at the end, it was great to be part of something like that and my friends and colleagues (who were quite bemused to find out I was doing it!) helped me raise a bit for charity along the way.

I hope all is continuing to go well for you in your professional practice and that others are benefiting to the same extent as I benefited from your advice. I recall I was a real desk potato when I first came to you – it feels like I have come a long way on the eating / exercise front over the last three years!

Best wishes,
JB

I have just never been able to lose weight, even when I was sick in hospital and not able to eat. Thank-you for showing me the right way forward. You won’t believe the difference you have made and I am sorry to hear you are leaving as I have recommended you to everyone I know.

There is a lot of cold and coughs around and I have been lucky and managed to avoid it but have spent too much time with a dear friend who I suspect may have pneumonia. Today my chest is ticklish and I ll phone the chemo suite later.  My oncologist decamped to Liverpool and I am being looked after by the suite and a new oncologist who I will see every 3 months.  Any ideas about chest infections?
Your book is my most thumbed next to my bed.  You are very very good at what you do and I want you to know that your standard is higher than any I have found.  Irreplaceable -thats you !
Wishing you a wonderful 2014 and thank you for your care and friendship
